One Year Ago Today....
It was a year ago that Brian and I first set foot in Children's Home Society for our informational meeting. We mailed our application the next day. Today we are approaching the 2 month anniversary of Mikey's homecoming. We have an amazing 7 month old who just yesterday sprouted his first tooth. We have gone from a family of 4 to a family of 5, from a family with 6 loads of laundry weekly to one with 8, from a family who ran the dishwasher almost daily to running it almost twice daily, etc..... the list goes on. What a difference a year can make. Most of all we are a family with abundant blessings. Not a day goes by that I do not stop to thank God for these amazing gifts.
We are taking our first road trip Friday! Those of you who know us well know that we are very well traveled, well, in the great state of Minnesota anyway. Michael does not know this yet, and I can almost guarantee he won't appreciate it! We will be leaving for Grandma and Grandpa's in Remer right before his nap time and hope for the best! :-) Th girls will be plugged in to various electronic devices and therefore hopefully quiet. Who knows, Brian and I may even have a conversation!

We love the latest picture of the girls and Michael! Keep them coming! We hope that your first road trip goes well and we look forward to seeing you when you get back! Be good for mommy and daddy in the car.....
