Three Little Monkeys....

This blog was created as an on-line scrapbook of our lives as a family of 5. It was originally created to keep family and friends posted during the journey which brought our son home from Seoul, Korea in Dec. 2006.

Merry Christmas ~ Happy New Year!
Christmas was just a blur this year with 3 kids! There seemed to be paper flying everywhere and a lot of "who's that from?" and "oooohhh, say thank you to...." Thanks to our generous family, our house is in a state of distaster and Mikey is one stylin' dude.
Michael continues to do amazingly well. There was a little stress that caused an "off" day on Christmas... we think there was just too much excitement and too many people for the poor little guy. He has rebounded nicely today and has had us in stitches once again. He is crawling already! At least at this point it is still slowly enough that we can keep him outta trouble. He sits up unassisted now too, though we keep a pillow behind him just in case. Most days Mikey is so happy and, as Katherine says, "joyfull". He loves to gaze at me and "talk" to me when its bottle time, and laughs the biggest belly laughs when we tickle his armpits!
We are all so smitten with Michael it is hard to imagine that he only joined our family 3 weeks ago! All of the paperwork and waiting and frustration is fading into distant memories. Even the 15 hours in flight... well, maybe not yet~ but I would do it all again.
Good News - The last of the June born babies coming to Minnesota are on thier way! Adam, the son of the gal who lives in Walker and heard about the "proud grandma" in Remer, lands tomorrow. Zachary, who shared time at the Eastern baby hospital with Michael, mom and big brother leave tomorrow for Seoul. What an amazing blessing that there are 6 babies born in Seoul who found their forever families in Minnesota who will hopefully grow up knowing one another.
I hope you all had as wonderful and happy Christmas holiday as we did. We wish you all a blessed New Year!
