Travel Class!
Today I attended Children's Home Society's Korea travel class. It was really informative and I feel much, much better about the possibility of going there without Brian! There is an amazing subway system with English translations right on the signs. Everyone says Seoul is remarkably safe ~ the families that were at the class that have been there say they feel safer in Seoul than in Mpls./St. Paul. Apparently there is also great shopping opportunities! :-)
It appears as though the "dreaded quota" will NOT effect Michael's home comming. Korea has a quota each year on the number of visas issued, and the end of the year many families are unable to get a visa for their child and have to wait until after the new year. It is looking like the travel call will come sometime in the first half of November!
Please continue to pray for Michael in Korea, and also for a speedy process!
