Three Little Monkeys....

This blog was created as an on-line scrapbook of our lives as a family of 5. It was originally created to keep family and friends posted during the journey which brought our son home from Seoul, Korea in Dec. 2006.

Mikey's List of Scary Things:

1) Microwave popcorn popping

2) The exercise ball

3) Baby Zoe (from Sesame Street)

4) The vacuum

5) The exam table at the Dr's office

and the latest scare.....

6) BUBBLES!!!!!

It is in the mid 50's here today. The sun felt so warm it we just could not stay indoors. Mikey has croup, so he was not entirely happy about being outdoors, but it was good for us all. I cannot wait for the arrival of spring and the end to this terrible sick season.

Michael did not want those bubbles anywhere near him!

Some more pics from our week:

Mess? What mess?

The snowman in our driveway. Built by Brian and me.... but somehow we are not pictured...

Good joke sis!

This chair has been in Brian's family for generations. Brian refinished it and took many layers of paint off while we were waiting for Michael.

In Mikey's hand he is holding an ear of corn from the girls' collection of plastic fake food. He has an odd sort of attachment to this corn. Each morning he fishes it out of a pile of many far more expensive, interesting looking toys, crawls all around the house with it, and even took a bath with it yesterday!

Katherine Looooves her little brother!

Great pics- and how funny about his little ear of corn! Nathan's favorite toy when he first came home was an empty Kleenex box.

HEY- about your post on my blog- if you want some of my pics of ESWS or Korea I would be happy to send them to you. Let me know. :)

Oh my, I am rolling on the floor laughing about that ear of corn. It's always the silliest things that kids attach too...not the expensive, well-thought-out items that we buy. :) What a funny kid!

I like your list Mikey! I would have to agree with #5. You look so grown up in your latest pictures. Can't wait to see you soon. Hope you are feeling better!
