"... and please don't let Jesus get an ear 'fection."

So these past two weeks have been somewhat stressful. The girls must have thought I needed cheering up because I was presented with these two beautiful pieces of artwork the other day. Poor Mikey was diagnosed with a double ear infection, and the Dr. says he will likely need tubes. He is on the 3rd antibiotic to try and kick the infections and he really does not care for it - thank goodness it is a once per day med. The Dr. always has to dig out the wax before he can see anything in Mikey's ears, and of course he screams bloody murder. Poor Ellie was trying so hard to comfort her brother by singing his favorite song, Silent Night, at the top of her lungs as he screamed - really escalating the noise level and I am sure causing everyone outside of our exam room to chuckle. That night when we said our prayers Ellie asked God to spare Jesus the pain of any "ear 'fection's".

At least we were all able to soak up some sun today. Spring is finally here and we are sooooo ready for it!

Recently, Mikey has traded in his plastic corn for a Tupperware tumbler straw that he has in his hand here.
