Three Little Monkeys....

This blog was created as an on-line scrapbook of our lives as a family of 5. It was originally created to keep family and friends posted during the journey which brought our son home from Seoul, Korea in Dec. 2006.

Summer's winding down....

Kids at Como Zoo

This Summer has just flown by at lightning speed! We have had so much fun this year with our new camper and boat. We took a look around our house and yard the other day and decided we'll have to stay home this weekend and try to be responsible adults!

Monday is the first day of school already! Ellie starts kindergarten on her 6th birthday. Katherine will be a big 3rd grader, and Mikey will be wandering the house yelling "Kayteeeeeee! YaYaaaaaa!" Life is definately going to change around here with school M-Th at 8am, soccer on Saturdays, Girl Scouts on Mondays, and Kids Bible Club Tuesdays. The girls are ready and excited. Mikey is happy that there will be no one hindering his decisions to watch the "tah tah's" (telletubbies) or "baba's" (boohbahs).

They share a birthday AND their adoption month?! How cool! Your son is just precious, by the way. I'm so jealous of the amazing community of adoptive families in Minnesota. Still trying to find that here in Colorado.

Laurie,
Mikey came home on 12/5/06... when did your little man hit US soil?
Yes, the adoptive community is incredible here - 1 in 10 ppl in MN were adopted.
I am glad to have "met" you and I am excited to hear about your 2nd child soon!
